Another Deal Closed in Meydan Horizon, and Another Reason I Believe in This Location

Written by

Closed on a AED 66 million land transaction in Meydan Horizon this month, and it’s the kind of deal I don’t mind talking about, because it says something about where Dubai’s growth is actually heading right now.

CDS Development picked up the plot, and I want to congratulate Mikhail Medvedev and Oleg Tkachenko on the acquisition. I’ve watched what they’ve built elsewhere, and Meydan Horizon is lucky to have developers who think the way they do, patient, deliberate, and genuinely invested in getting the design right rather than rushing units to market.

This is the part of the job people rarely see. Long before a plot shows up in a brochure, someone has to structure the deal, get the numbers to make sense for both sides, and make sure the buyer’s ambition actually matches what the land can support. That’s where I spend most of my time, and it’s the part I find most satisfying, long after the site visits and before anyone’s watching a single crane go up.

I’ve said this before and I’ll keep saying it: the developers worth betting on are the ones who treat land selection as seriously as they treat design. CDS Development did exactly that here, and I’m glad I got to be the one who helped put the pieces together.
