I had the honour of visiting the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in Abu Dhabi at the gracious invitation of H.E. Thoriq Ibrahim, Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the United Arab Emirates.
During our meeting, we held a productive and forward-looking discussion on the growing foreign investment opportunities available in the Maldives. Our conversation focused particularly on the country’s real estate, tourism, hospitality and infrastructure sectors, as well as its potential to attract investors, developers and strategic partners from the UAE and other international markets.
We also explored ways to strengthen investment relations between the Maldives and the UAE by connecting credible investors with promising projects and long-term development opportunities. With its exceptional natural beauty, world-renowned tourism industry and investment potential, the Maldives continues to present an attractive destination for responsible and sustainable international investment.
