A Strategic Dialogue on Pakistan’s Economic Future
I was honoured to be invited to an exclusive strategic discussion hosted by Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, together with Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, and Consul General Hassan Afzal Khan.
The roundtable brought together a select group of Pakistani business leaders and entrepreneurs from the UAE to exchange ideas on strengthening the relationship between Pakistan and its overseas community.
Empowering the Pakistani Diaspora
The discussion centred on initiatives designed to empower the Pakistani diaspora, attract greater foreign investment, and leverage the global expertise of overseas Pakistanis to support the country’s long-term economic development.
The conversation highlighted the importance of creating stronger connections between overseas professionals, investors, and national institutions to unlock new opportunities for collaboration.
Connecting Global Capital with Pakistan’s Opportunities
During the session, I shared my perspectives on international investment, cross-border business collaboration, and the role overseas business leaders can play in connecting global capital with opportunities in Pakistan.
We discussed the importance of building investor confidence, maintaining policy continuity, strengthening transparency, and creating an environment that encourages sustainable economic growth.
A Shared Vision for Pakistan’s Global Network
The meeting reflected a shared vision of transforming the Pakistani diaspora from a community of expatriates into a strategic global network capable of contributing knowledge, capital, innovation, and international partnerships.
It was a privilege to participate in this dialogue and contribute ideas aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s economic future.
Commitment to Long-Term Economic Development
I remain committed to supporting initiatives that enhance Pakistan’s global investment profile and deepen collaboration between overseas Pakistanis, international investors, and national institutions.
